Sushi Teh

my lunch was at Sushi Teh just now..

well i din managed to take ani pics.. pretty sad. din brought my camera out..

but my frn ordered a few dishes - baked scallop, unagi sushi, corn n crabmeat sushi, egg sushi, tuna sushi, prawn salad, small fish (with eggs inside), another dish is ...

anyone knows that e real scallop actuali is a bigger piece of meat rather than that small round thingy which looks like 10 cent coin..

so e last dish was actuali those "extra" meat surrounding scallop..

e above dishes are what i named them as.. but e real dish name in e restaurant i have no idea! haha because those were my friend who ordered them :)

but overall its good.. those who havent tried, can go ahead and try their delicacies :)

shall take pictures if im there again..

mooncakes again :)

japanese sweet potato with chocolate

soursop (kinda bland)

mango (strong taste)

overall i stil tink e one from kia hiang restaurant is better.. thou this filling is kinda special.. e flavours pretty rare but one downpoint that is their snowskin is dry n not sticky chewy n soft..

kinda weird snowskin.. filling is still ok..

Raffles Place.

For those whom din know.. thr are stalls stationed at Raffles place mrt station(i tink taka and other areas have too) selling mooncakes from several well-known hotels like The Regent Singapore, Sze-Chuan Court, Li Bai, Peach Blossoms, Intercontinental Singapore, GoodwoodPark, Peach Garden, Peony Jade, Harbour City Restaurant, Kia Hiang Restaurant.

Seriously im excited cuz im a mooncake lover.

i saw different assorted flavours of mooncakes esp the snowskin mooncakes. yums~

therefore i bought mooncakes again! kia hiang restaurant offered 15% discount only during lunch time.

and e flavours were something ive never tried before. its blueberry & cheese in snowskin, black & white sesame mousse in snowskin, chocolate with macadamia nuts & rum, aloe vera & avocado cream in snowskin, fresh durian in snowskin and green tea lotus paste in snowskin!

i shall update the photos later when im back home.

ive tried them n i would like to sae all r nice. e blueverry & cheese taste something like cheesecake,

the chocolate with macadamia nuts & rum while biting into it theres like a biscuit or so, u can hear e sound, like eatin ferrero rocher,

the aloe vera & avocado cream seems like ure eating ice-cream( i guess because of e cream),
and then the green tea lotus paste is e hardest among all( cuz its e onli one with lotus paste filling, e rest was very soft whn i cut through them)

after few mins e rest started to fall, like meltin..onli e greentea one remained firm. haha

after this box, id like to try ..

Above ones are those which ive find rather unique than e usual ones like every mid-autumn festival has. kinda bored eating e same ones every year isnt it?

LOL~ thts e reason for e variety of creations.. so we consumers will still purchase mooncakes..
